We’re not just breaking down barriers; we’re building tables where survivors of color can have a seat. We strive to ensure representation within the larger community. By promoting diversity and inclusivity, we create a platform for survivors to be seen, heard, and respected, so their unique experiences and perspectives enrich our collective story.

We work tirelessly to break down the barriers to access and care that survivors often face. Our advocacy extends to making sure that survivors of color are heard and that their unique needs are met. In unity, we find strength. The For the Breast of Us community is a place of solace, support, and belonging. We are the family you choose after a breast cancer diagnosis. Together, we share stories, lend a helping hand, and offer unwavering support. Our community is a safe space where survivors of all backgrounds can connect, celebrate victories, and face challenges together, ensuring no one feels isolated on their journey.

EDUCATION
Knowledge is power, and we equip survivors with the tools they need to thrive. Our educational resources cover a spectrum of topics, from understanding treatment options to managing life after cancer. We provide survivors with the information and guidance they need to rebuild, renew, and live life to the fullest.

ADVOCACY
When For the Breast of Us was created in 2019, we simply wanted to create a place where other women of color affected by breast cancer could connect with women who looked like them, felt like them, and navigated the same challenges they do. Not only are we celebrating the visual diversity of our community, we are demanding to be SEEN and acknowledged by the breast cancer community at large.
COMMUNITY
The private Facebook group, social media and now in-person meetups work in harmony to create a vibrant and supportive community for breast cancer survivors. They offer a range of mediums through which survivors can connect, share their stories, find inspiration, gain valuable knowledge, and most importantly, feel the warmth and comfort of knowing they are not alone in their journey.
EDUCATION
Our blogs and podcast creates education for breast cancer survivors. The blog offers a repository of information, tips, and personal stories that survivors can access at their convenience. On the other hand, webinars offer a dynamic, real-time educational experience with expert insights, interactive discussions, and peer support, helping survivors stay informed, empowered, and connected throughout their journey.
